IAMNK Blog is a practical blogging and content-publishing platform built using WordPress. Unlike some of the other IAMNK projects that deliberately use custom development and advanced technologies, the Blog takes a more pragmatic approach: use a mature platform that makes publishing and long-term maintenance easy.

The decision to use WordPress is intentional. A blogging platform does not necessarily benefit from being technically complicated if the primary requirement is to publish, edit, organise and maintain content efficiently. WordPress provides a mature content-management ecosystem that allows articles and other content to be managed without requiring continuous custom development.

This makes IAMNK Blog different from projects such as GK Ace or the IAMNK interactive portfolio. Those projects are designed partly to demonstrate technical capability and creative web development, whereas the Blog is designed primarily to serve its purpose efficiently.

The platform can be used for publishing articles, technology content, project updates, opinions, guides and other long-form material. WordPress also provides an established foundation for content organisation, search-engine optimisation, media management and ongoing publishing.

From a portfolio perspective, IAMNK Blog demonstrates an important engineering principle: the best technology is not always the most technically impressive technology. Building a custom blogging engine might demonstrate development skills, but it would also create unnecessary maintenance work for a problem that WordPress already solves extremely well.
